About
Golden Plains Shire Council developed a concept design for upgrading the Play Space at Shelford Recreation Reserve and invited community members to share their thoughts on the proposed design.
The concept design includes new play equipment such as an in-ground trampoline, standing spinner with rubber surround, climbing logs, giant basket swing, double playground swing, large treehouse playground tower, bush cubby, and scramble logs and boulders.
Additional features include street furniture, pathways, a gravel carpark with markings and accessible parking bays, an accessible picnic setting, and a 3-metre-high ball barrier fence to the oval side of the Play Space.
Engagement Update
The concept design of the proposed Play Space upgrade was on public exhibition from Wednesday 3 July to 9am, Wednesday 24 July 2024.
