Council is reaching out to young people and youth focused stakeholders across the Shire to gather valuable insights that will inform the development of youth programs and activities within the community.
Council’s Youth Development Team has prepared surveys (for young people aged 12 to 25 and youth-focused stakeholders) aimed at identifying the prominent needs, aspirations and issues young people face in our community. This initiative aims to ensure local youth have a voice in creating programs that meet their needs and interests.
People who complete the survey can also choose to go in the running to win a Segway Ninebot F2 Plus Electric Scooter funded by the State Government’s Engage! Program. Terms and conditions apply.

The Have Your Say survey was open to young people aged 12 to 25 and youth stakeholders from Wednesday 6 November until 5pm on Friday 13 December 2024.

What happens next?
Information collected from the survey will be used to inform funding applications for the State Government's Engage! and FReeZA youth programs to develop youth programs and activities in Golden Plains Shire
