The Golden Plains Youth Battle of the Bands event will be held on Saturday 24 August from 6.30 to 9.30pm at the Inverleigh Public Hall.
Open to all young people aged 12 to 25, Battle of the Bands is a showcase of young up and coming artists, inclusive of all genres, with bands, soloists, duo performances and digital artists all welcome to express their interest in performing.
The event aims to encourage young musicians, bands and digital artists from across the Shire to submit an Expression of Interest to take the stage at Golden Plains Shire’s biggest free youth event.
The Event is funded by FReeZA, a Victorian Government initiative that supports young Victorians to get involved in their community by planning and running drug, smoke, vaping and alcohol-free music and cultural events for other young people. This is an all ages, fully supervised event with strictly no pass outs.
