Climate Emergency Workshop - Smythesdale

Council is preparing a Climate Emergency Plan 2022-2032 and wants to hear from all Golden Plains community members.

 As part of the development of the Plan, Council is seeking feedback on the community vision for the Plan and how Council can best support community to respond to climate changes.

To help shape the Climate Emergency Plan, community members are invited to participate in one of the upcoming Climate Emergency Plan workshops.

The workshops are a valuable opportunity for Council to learn about your vision for the Climate Emergency Plan in more detail and how Council can best support the community to respond to climate impacts.

There are Climate Emergency Plan workshops on the following dates:

Thursday 17 March from 5.30 to 6.30pm to held online via Zoom; Wednesday 23 March from 6 to 8pm at the Well, 19 Heales Street, Smythesdale;
Thursday 31 March from 6 to 8pm at the Teesdale Community Hall, Shelford-Bannockburn Road, Teesdale.
Saturday 4 April from 12 to 2pm at the Dereel Soldiers Memorial Hall, 14 Swamp Road, Dereel.
