Council is celebrating National Reconciliation Week for 2022 from 27 May to 3 June. The theme this year is Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for all. Council will be holding a series of events and activities in celebration of the week.
The Indigenous Storytelling on Tuesday 31 May at the Bannockburn Library will share the stories ‘Ceremony’ and ‘Somebody’s Land’ authored by former Australian Rules footballer and Adnyamathanha and Narungga man and community leader, Adam Goodes. Mayor Cr Gavin Gamble will host the Indigenous Storytelling at 3pm.
