Led by the Batesford, Fyansford, Stonehaven Landcare group, 1000 shrubs, ground covers and grasses are being planted alongside the Moorabool River in the Moorabool River in Batesford as part of National Tree Day.
The planting expands the area planted at last years National Tree Day and aims to restore the river corridor vegetation and provide habitat for native animals.
This event will also host the launch of the Batesford Community Plan 2023 - 2027.
