Community members are invited to this free event to celebrate the Inverleigh and Murgheboluc District Soldiers in the Great War 1914-1918 Book Launch.
Author, Rob Wight, is a WW1 buff with a passion for researching military history. He is a member of the Western Front Association and Inverleigh Historical Society.
Rob’s book tells the stories of 139 WW1 soldiers with links to Inverleigh and Murgheboluc. As a group they are representative of the overall AIF experience.
A summary of the war, the use of many contextual and personal images, and a clear engaging style make this book military and local history at its best.
