Member for Geelong Christine Couzens MP proudly opened the Bannockburn Kindergarten upgrade on behalf of Victorian Minister for Children and Minister for Disability the Hon. Lizzie Blandthorn on Thursday 23 May 2024.
Christine Couzens MP joined Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham to cut the ribbon alongside Kardinia Early Learning and Council staff. The upgrade features a new modular building which will provide access to high quality early childhood education in the region.
This project was fully funded by the Victorian Government and was planned and implemented in collaboration with Golden Plains Shire Council and Kardinia Early Learning.
The Victorian Government has also delivered a kindergarten upgrade in Haddon and a new kindergarten in Napoleons which opened last year. This work is part of the State Government’s Best Start, Best Life reform.
