Community Group Co-Producers Wanted

Community Networking Programs
Arts, Culture & Heritage

Golden Plains Shire Council is excited to announce an open call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from dedicated community members interested in co-producing three community networking programs, including contemporary practice, craft and maker and small halls networks.

Co-producers will play a pivotal role in connecting practitioners through the development of a Shire-wide network that builds capacity and encourages collaboration to identify opportunities, leading the change in shaping the future of our community.

Key responsibilities of successful applicants will include consulting with stakeholders across the Shire to gauge interest in establishing Shire-wide networks for community members. Additionally, they will conduct research and provide recommendations for an organisational model to support these networks and deliver a comprehensive plan for funding opportunities.

Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham encourages passionate community members to seize this opportunity and register their EOI.

Co-producers for these excellent networking groups will foster collaboration, capacity building and gather knowledge to form a successful network in our Shire,” Cr Cunningham said.

Bring your vision to life as you co-produce dynamic community initiatives and forge connections that strengthen our collective impact. If you have experience and a drive for connecting our unique community and maker groups, please consider applying today.

EOI’s are open from Monday 6 May to Monday 20 May 2024. To submit an Expression of Interest, visit goldenplains.vic.gov.au/consultations or email [email protected]

Successful applicants will be notified at the conclusion of the EOI period. Successful applicants will need to provide Public Liability Insurance and Working with Children's Check to be eligible. A remuneration package and travel expenses will be available to successful applicants.
