Community Satisfaction Survey Results 2024

Community Satisfaction Survey 2024
General

The 2024 Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey results of Golden Plains Shire Council are now available.

The survey featured feedback from 400 residents over a year (100 residents surveyed four times in that year) with respondents representing a range of age groups and locations within Golden Plains Shire. Council thanks all residents who participated and provided their valuable feedback.

Every year, Local Government Victoria (LGV) coordinates the state-wide Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey. The main objectives of the survey are to assess the performance and services of Victorian councils across a range of measures and to seek insight on ways to provide improved or more efficient service delivery, as well as fulfilling the statutory reporting requirements of Councils.

Council will utilise the survey findings, along with other measures, to address areas of concern to residents. Council will respond to issues within our resources and ability to influence, ensuring we continuously improve and meet community needs.
