Golden Plains Shire Council invites residents and visitors to join us at the Bannockburn Heart, corner of Milton, Byron & High Streets, Bannockburn on Thursday 19 December from 4 to 9pm for the biggest Golden Plains Twilight Market to date.

The Bannockburn Heart will come alive with over 120 stallholders, offering delicious food, fine crafts, live music, free activities, and more. This is thanks to generous support from sponsors Beyond the Valley, GPG Naturgy Group, Josco Civil, Golden Plains Storage by Murrell Group and Stockdale & Leggo Bannockburn.

An extension of the popular Golden Plains Farmers’ Market, the Twilight Market will feature a variety of ready to eat foods, including a full bar where you can enjoy a chilled craft beer, local wine or cocktail. Market-goers can stock up on farm fresh goods, spices, sauces and meats for all your festive feasts, and support our growers and makers by picking up those last-minute Christmas gifts for your loved ones.

There will be live performances by Kieran Tobin, FWD and Alaska Rodgers, along with free activities for the kids, such as face painting, balloon twisting, a jumping castle, animal farm, and even a surprise visit from a special guest.

Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Sarah Hayden encouraged everyone to come along and enjoy the festive event.

This is our biggest Twilight Market yet with over 120 stallholders set to appear. The Twilight Market has received lots of community support over the years, and we’re excited to welcome the community again in 2024, Cr Hayden said.

Attending the Twilight Market and shopping from local stallholders is a fantastic way to support our local growers and makers this festive season. Our local growers and makers, our markets and our community are what makes our Shire so special, she said.

I encourage everyone to pop down to the market and enjoy a fun-filled evening with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you there.
