Member for Eureka Michaela Settle MP has officially opened the revitalised Lethbridge Play Space alongside Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham.

This project has included an upgrade of the existing play elements, street furniture, shelter, BBQ, paths and landscaping. The revitalised play space will provide both local residents, user groups and the wider community with greater scope to encourage physical activity, outdoor play and increase participation in active recreation.

Golden Plains Shire Council Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham said the Lethbridge Play Space had received significant upgrades with playground attractions for families and children of all ages.

This revitalised play space is already proving to be popular with local residents and visitors, and Council is really proud to have worked alongside the State Government to create a vibrant community space for everyone to enjoy,” Cr Cunningham said.

This project was jointly funded with $200,000 from the Victorian Government’s Living Local – Regional Grants Program and $200,000 from Golden Plains Shire Council.
