Shelford

Council’s ‘Recovery to Resilience’ Community Emergency Management workshop at Shelford is fast approaching.

Council has engaged Resilient Co. to facilitate the workshops which will empower communities to implement their own learnings during future emergency events.

Workshop locations include:

•    Shelford Recreation Reserve Club Rooms, Monday 20 May from 6 to 8pm.
•    Inverleigh Public Hall, Monday 3 June from 6 to 8pm.
•    Teesdale Community Hall, Thursday 20 June from 6 to 8pm.

Light catering will be provided at these events.

The ‘Recovery to Resilience’ workshops will empower local communities with the skills and knowledge to prepare for future emergency events and establish Community Recovery Hubs. Community Recovery Hubs are community-led locations for localised information sharing and support during an emergency management situation.
